Runescape was baby's first MMO. Only now do I notice how suck-fucking-tastic it is. At the time is was the feces. I started to play Fiesta which is okay, and I still think its combat system is one of the best for free RPGs, but I kind of stopped playing that as well. I started to like sci-fi, looked for some space MMOs and found a little known game from Brazil (I think, its somewhere South American) called Taikodom. You dogfight from a ship but never really leave the ship. You buy new weapons and go on missions, basic stuff. Only problem is not many people speak English.

World of Warcraft for me, although my interest has been waning severely of late. I've been considering having a crack at Champions Online.

Kingdom of Loathing, a nice little browser game that allows me to bash Orcish Frat Boys in the face. I'm a level 12 Seal Clubber in my ninth life, Hardcore Bad Moon.

Guild Wars and 2Moons. Both are great in my opinion, but I doubt other people would care for 2Moons.

I go in and out of MMO games, but right now I've gotten into Mabinogi, and it's been pretty fun so far. Not to mention it's mostly FTP.

I play Guild Wars. I like the realism and the crisscrossing stories. I also enjoy putting builds together (sets of skills and stats) and (for some reason) GW gives me the most flexibility to really play with the available options.

I tried WoW once. Didn't care for it personally, but I can see how some might get into it. Then again... you really can't do anything in just 2 weeks in that game.

I've heard mixed reviews about Lord of the Rings Online, Star Wars Galaxies, and Aion... but never tried them personally. I'm just way too... broke.

Incidentally, if anyone's looking to join a Guild... lol!

I play an MMO by Nexon(a south Korea based company that is legitimate) called Dungeon Fighter Online. It's like old arcade beat'um ups, but with classes and leveling. sadly, I am the ridiculously broken in PVE mage, which may not sound like a bad thing, until you realize she's an 8 year old magical girl like the ones from (my Japanese) anime. and to make it worse, they gave her fetish fuel cloths that you can buy.

I played Runescape for about five minutes waaaaay back in the day. I didn't like it. I played WoW for a time a few summers ago. The mindless killing was a nice way to go brain dead at the end of a crap day but I got so bored of it. It was grind after grind against a backdrop of people attempting to hit me up for cybersex. I get most of my kicks from TF2 now. I tend to have more luck in that game with finding groups to play with that are in it for the lulz instead of fer srs gamer cred, which is so much more fun. Also, no monthly fees! Yay!

I play Guild Wars and 2moons every now and then. I was even addicted to Runescape some years ago, until I saw the game for what it truly was: a browser-based waste of time.

Ever heard of runescape? Pretty big and a good chunk of it is free. $6 a month if you actually want the whole game. It's a browser game, so no memory usage. Graphics ain't great, but are good enough considering it's a browser game.

I play Monster Hunter Frontier Online. It's nice to be able to play my favourite game series ever the way it was meant to be played - in multiplayer. It's free too, which is a huge plus.

I also play this. Though I'm not that far in it. It's fun, only browser game I haven't quit.

I usually test them out but rarely stay. Most are the same and I can only play "free" ones right now which are 99% shit. I currently have Shin Megami Tensai online installed. Played it off and on since it was released so I guess I can say it's a rare free to play that isn't all that bad. Also have Ether Saga installed.

I'm mostly a single player guy.

I used to play, my account officially dies on the first of april.

It was a fun game, but i didn't like the atmosphere of the big guilds. Once all my friends left i got bored playing alone and clicked to cancel my account.

It was a fun game while i had friends to run it with but alone i barely ever logged in.

Give it a try if you an convince some buddies to play it with you. Otherwise, like most MMO's, avoid if your walking in alone.
