Poll: What processor should i get for Gaming?

Just wondering what would be the best Processor for gaming.

You sure you need an ultra-fancy processor? A nice, relatively cheap Q6600 should be able to run most games pretty well. As for the ones on your list, I'd pick the AMD 1090T based on this topic on Tom's Hardware: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/281043-28-definitive-1090t-choice

I think i might get the i7-920 Or AMD Phenom? II X6 1055T what would be better for Gaming. I am sure i would be happy with both but would like one to be able to play future games and high settings.

Intel I7, I have it myself and its really neat in gaming.
but they are both great Processors, and there is hardly any difference.
