same thing happened to me. but i fixed mine up. and by "fixed up" i mean pimped out. i took what parts i had and got spares off eBAY... so now it looks like a laptop. it has a keyboard and everything but it is still a ps3. it is not a laptop. looks just like one though. it still plays games and everything. just in case your wondering i combined it with my old laptop for the screen and such.

Go on Wiki and read about Thermite, specifically the Thermite Reaction. It's just Aluminium and Iron Oxide (aka rust) mixed together then set fire.McCa said:

It's truly awesome stuff, that you can make in your kitchen. Youtube Thermite videos too, they're also awesome.
Look up the Blu-Ray Laser Gun. It can burn stuff, about a boiling-grease level burn. It's not lethal (necessarily) but if someone goes to mug you you can cuase extreme pain and scare the fuck out of them.

And although you may need a better battery to achieve high power, this thing will burn and blind. Go knock each other out. I don't feel like tearing apart a system that cost me $600 for a $100 stun-gun.
