I'd have to go with video gaming, none of the others really pertain to me.

While I identify with all of the above, I have to say I'm a movie geek. Yes, I come on the Escapist just for gaming news and reviews, but I love movies more than video games. Hell, I picked the Ps3 over xbox 360 or the Wii because it was a blu-ray player (since my parents refuse to buy dvds anymore and I wanted to my movies.)

Video gaming.
And music.
Little bit of movies. Helps being in a relationship with an actor who constantly points out "That's so-and-so!"

Seeing as this is a video game website, I feel like the results may be skewed slightly.

My answer: Video games.

See?

Never played a table top game in my life, and don't actually go and see all that many movies. So like almost everyone else I'll go Video Games.

I feel like such a special snowflake.

I suppose I identify "most" with video games. But I'm also a big movie fan and anime fan. I WANT to be into Tabletop games too but my friends are all either/and video games, movies, anime only. I need tabletop friends and then I can finally achieve my desire to raise my nerd level beyond 8999.

Video games I guess. Although I wouldn't say I identify with that one strongly. If anything I would say I'm a Meal head before that. I don't like that term either.

I fit into all of those. Probably... anime/ manga/ general squees for Japaan top, then videogames, then tabletop games, then movies. I have a different group of friends that I do each of these with, though.

I put in Video Gaming but honestly I should have put in Other since while Gaming is probably my Nerd Culture area of expertise...well, gaming isn't as cut and dry as it seems. I know nothing of PC gaming and little of Online gaming. I know next to nothing of pre-crash home gaming (I know of Atari 2600 but that's about all). I guess Gaming is my field but to be exact, I'm best with Nintendo consoles prior to the Wii and, modern console gaming in general. If I was better with computers I would be a 'you toob person' already but I don't have any equipment for capturing game footage...yet.

Anyway gaming aside I'm surprised there isn't a section for western comics! I'm no Comicbook Guy or Linkara but I think Superhero Comics may be my second best field when it comes to geek culture. I'm not as into anime and manga as I used to be but could be going back to it and I don't go to the movies often at all.

Video gaming I guess, with a bit of anime and a bit of roleplaying (although I'm not really as in to that as the others)

I feel I'm a bit of everything:
video games, anime, graphic novels, films, boardgames...
Video games would be my speciality, though, so I went with that.

Well I do like anime, but I don't really "identify" with it. I don't go on dedicated anime forums to talk about it, and none of my friends or family watch it.

The only table top games I have played are Warhammer 40K and the LOTR equivilant, but I don't any more, so I can't really count that.

I'd have to go with gaming by default really, although to be honest, even that I wouldn't say I "identify" with it. I despise the term "gamer", and the idea of it being a "culture". To me it is just another hobby like reading or watching films, one that I spend more time doing than I probably should.

Anime more than gaming for me too.
I just dont have enough time to sit down and play a gaem, where as anime, I can just run in the background and consume loads of it while doing work etc.

Out of those options, I'd probably be gaming followed very closely by anime, but I've been gaming for longer than I've been into anime so I'd have to go with that one. I dabble a bit in tabletop as well but I haven't really been that crazy for it.

But really I'd have to say the main focus of my "geekism" would be science. I'm a junior Chemistry major so most of my days are spent in classes, in labs, writing lab reports, or tutoring others about it.
