Spy. You can just forget about playing engi when there's a decent spy on the enemy team. The Sappers are rather fast, not that you could do anything about a spy sapping your stuff after he stabbed you and cloaked again so fast that your sentry can react. And thanks to the new knife, Spies wont even have to use a macro to re-cloak.

"I'm pretty sure i got that Spy! Turned him into mincemeat." "They can fake that too..." "You kidding me right? Right?".

When played right, one spy can do more against any sentry defense then two ubered Heavies or in some places even demomen. One Spy can disable all your Teleporters, slowing the entire team down until the engineers return, one by one in a pathetic attempt to have at least on engi on the Sentries to guard them. Might as well forget about that, usually it's safer to move the sentry to a corner somewhere.
My buildings have been destroyed by spies more often then by all other classes combined. Maybe i'm just so damn good at placing and repairing but a ubercharged demoman wouldn't have too much problems with that.

Just talking about balance purposes... I think the Pyro would be missed the least.

But in a personal vendetta I'd remove the sniper. Screw people who seem to dedicate their lives pissing me off as a heavy.

Demoman.

1. Plant stickies on capture point/intelligence.

2. Wait for enemy to approach capture point/intelligence.

3. Right click.

4. Repeat.

Pyro. Very situational. Very good for what it does, but not quite as versatile as the other classes. Can't remove the sniper or spy for balance against the heavy. Gotta keep the heavy/medic for pushes. Demo, soldier, and scout are all league classes, so obviously they stay.

That leaves pyro and engineer. And I like the engineer more.
Well if the spy can't go for balance reasons the pyro can't go for balance reasons. Then you are back to square one.
I think that was true a long time ago, but there are now a lot more counters for spies. Might need a little balance, but there are other ways of finding spies now.

I'd least miss the engineer. Just because I hate playing as one, but get stuck doing it because no one else on my team will do so.

I main as a Demoman, so I would miss him the most.

I would remove the Scottish Warrior, and leave the Demoman.

Or, I'd take out the pyro. I only mildly dislike pyro players, but he's the one class that doesn't seem to fulfill any one role, besides taking down spies (an already pretty vulnerable class to any spy-savvy player)

Where's the Heavy on the Poll? I don't see his russian ass there?

Meh, nevermind I saw the rest of the message there. But still. I had to vote Soldier. Aside of the RPG, he's pretty generic.

The Spy.

Probably the least essential to the whole "Team" aspect of Team Fortress 2

Demo. I never use it, Soldier, Heavy, and Scout are better.
And he has no Actual Guns, just a bunch of crappy grenade launchers that I end up selling to friends for $5, so if you're in a tight spot, and have a Grenade Launcher, all you can do is get killed because you can't shoot anyone. It just turns into a big, unintuitive mess.
And his stupid, Scottish Mommy's boy ass is so slow you could replace him with a slug with an annoying Scottish accent and it the difference would be very Subtle.

I would actually like to see the Heavy removed. I don't like playing as them and I don't like going against them... Unless I am a Spy or Sniper.

Your poll is awkwardly worded. Are you asking me which class i like the best or least? And why don't you simply ask that?

In any case i'm going to be a killjoy, i wouldn't take the $1,000. I'd tell the guy to do whatever he wanted with the game because i will not be be made to feel responsible for something outside my control. Also I think that every class has its place, and more importantly its fans, and i'm not enough of a douche to say that your class is the matters the least. (i'm not trying to imply that anyone voting in this is a douchbag)

I'm sorry, i'm just not in the mood for overly elaborate hypothetical scenarios. Especially ones that try to force a false dilemma.

I wouldn't care if the Sniper got removed. Most Sniper players just killwhore and contribute nothing to their team. The other classes actually have the ability to do something beyond just chilling at the back of the map or spamming wildly with the Lucksman.

fucking spies. when the other team has a full set of spies rolling around the game gets annoying as fuck, in which you basically have to match their spies with 2-4 pyros running around flaming the shit out of everything.

so yes, for the most part, spies are the most annoying pieces of shit out there. most other classes i can deal with one way or another with a nice class swap or two, but the fucking spies are annoying as shit

I agree, but you could easily same the about spies. 95% of spies and snipers contribute very little to the team, however its not the class themselves but the how they are played
