Well, the new year has started, and I decided not to waste my money on shity games. The problem, there are to many games that look great and I want. Also,I have no job,so I get money from my dad every week for doing chores. So,I obviosly have little money,so i can only get one of these games.

I just cant get myself to choose, knowing all of these games are most likely going to be great.I have decided to let you guys decide. So,which one should I get and why?

EDIT:
Yes, I have beat, and still have Mass Effect 1.I beat Army of 2 and Bioshock. The reason I am thinking about getting them is because I loved the first ones.

After the first Army of 2, I doubt that they could make the game worth it. Adding on the karma choices can only mean that the game will have to be played through twice to see all of the out comes. But I'm a cynic so there you go. Mass Effect 2 looks go though, hopefully more of an emphasis on the action part of the Action RPG.

I'm going to go with Borderlands. I don't know what type of games you like, but I'm personally an FPS kinda guy (with some Guitar Hero thrown in) and I loved Borderlands. My brother on the other hand, is an RPG enthusiast, and he also loved it. It really is the best of both worlds. I mean, the RPG elements are definitely there with quests and a skill tree and such, but the FPS elements are there too; you're pretty much able to just go and kill things if that's what you want. It also really does have a lot of replayability in my book, first because your ultimate goal is to get the 50 which in and of itself is difficult, but then you have the two DLCs both of which I feel are excellent.

So yeah, Borderlands FTW

If you liked Mass Effect 1, odds are you'll like Mass Effect 2. So, I'd get that. Or Borderlands. It is a fantastic crossover, with fun quests, and the classes are different enough to be able to be played and have a different feel for the game.

I'm voting for Dark Void, but I'm a sucker for Rocketeer clones.

I played the demo and thought it was terrible. The rocket is so slow and the controls were horrible.

OT:

Go for MassEffect 2, as that is going to own 2010 if they've made the right tweaks from the first one.

That and fucking Nolan North...AGAIN.
He's done Sgt Forge, Nathan Drake TWICE, Desmond Miles TWICE and the Prince of Fucking Persia.
?
He's Desmond and the Prince? No wonder I hissed like an angry cat when I heard his voice.

I knew I recognised him... and I associate him with the worst bits of great franchises (i.e. the Desmond bits and the whole of POP 2008)

If you haven't played the original Bioshock, I'd suggest you get Mass Effect 2, assuming you've played the first one.
But the game on the top of my list to buy is Bioshock 2, but that's also because I'm a massive Bioshock slut.

Sell your blood
Sell your Non-vital organs
Get five jobs
Buy them all
Give us the ones you don't like

I see no fault with this plan.

I'd have to say Mass Effect 2. I only started playing the original recently and it's easy to see where there could be improvements.

I also watched the trailer which made it look great, though that's what trailers are for, so it's not much to go on.

After that it'd be Bioshock.

No opinion but Mass effect 2 and Bioshock 2 will probably be pretty good. I'd go with Mass Effect 2 but I really have no strong opinion about any particular one.
