Poll: What was your first First-Person Shooter?

My first FPS was Halo 3 when it had just come out.

Doom for PC was my first shooter, but that was already outdated when I played it around 2000. But I wasn't - and isn't - really into shooters, plus we didn't have a very good computer and I didn't own a console at the time, so that was all I tried.

First FPS I had was Goldeneye, but I never really got into it (I was only 6 or 7). The first game that got me interested in FPSs was Doom 3, I still remember ripping up Hell Knights with the soulcube

But hey I went onto play games like Half-Life and Bioshock and such since then, and even CoD.

I've been a gamer for years but never touched the fps genre until I started PC gaming.

I remember playing at my Grandma's house. Though I was very young back then, and didn't really have an interest in games.

I believe it was Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. That was quite a while ago, and it was dark.

GoldenEye on the Nintendo 64.

Although technically I only really got into FPSes with Counter Strike and Half-Life later on, that's where the ball got rolling.

I'd played a few FPSs way back when (like Wolfenstein and Doom), but I'll say that GoldenEye and CounterStrike were the first two I really enjoyed. I'm still not a big fan of the genre, though.

I played 3d Wolfenstein a bit but the first time I got into a FPS was Jet Force Gemini on the N64.

The first FPS game I ever played was Doom. Then I got into adventure games like Kings Quest and The Dig. I hadn't touched another FPS until Half Life 2. Now I have several in my games collection.
