Bethesda games always seem to play better on the PC.

Hands down.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with the mods...

I'll be playing it on the PC and am wondering - what is "That other thingy" I can play Skyrim on?
What are these "mods" you speak of?

As for that other thingy: You didn't hear about the new release of the total immersion simulator? Its supposed to be like a holodeck you jack into or something.
Eh... he he he.... heh he he....

Jack in to...

Well, seeing as I just recently built a new gaming computer.
AMD Phenom II x6 1055T, EVGA GTX570, 8GB 1333mhz DDR3 + all the goodies... I am going to probably play on PC, I played Morrowind on the original fatty Xbox, and Oblivion on PC (cause I didnt have a next-gen console at the time).

I do enjoy the fan mods after I have completed the game... PLUS if they wind up doing what they did for Oblivion, Consoles had to pay an extra 10$ to get the Knights of the Nine DLC, which included the KotN questline, as well as the Horse Armor and Mage Tower stuff. PC gamers got that stuff for free.

I just prefer PC for controls, to each their own.

What is this mystery device that the other 10 people will be playing it on? A handheld designed only for Skyrim?

My Tamagotchi pet doesn't liked to be crowded in...

Anyway, I'll be playing Skyrim on my 360.

PC.

I don't trust these consoles, and I've just upgraded my pc ^-^.

Because gosh darnit, PC gaming isn't dying, and even if it were, there's always the huge modding community, and if that fails, I shall be one of the last standing looking over the charred wasteland pioneering the dream. I know enough C++, photoshop, and 3DS max to make a crappy HL2 mod if nothing else, and by god if it took me a lifetime, I would rather play with making that than submitting to a world with no PC games.

Is there another option? Like: "What is Skyrim?"
I see that you are new to these forums, a bit of advice - read the rules before posting. Low content posts aren't tolerated.

As for Skyrim, google it.

It's a new Elder Scrolls game from Bethesda

I know what mods are goofy. The whole post was a joke 'cause I figured you where joking when you brought up mods. That's kind of a given when talking about Bethesda games for the PC.
I know, I'm horrible at using forums.
Haha, his sarcasm doesn't come through very well, but he's kind of a known player around here. I'd actually be worried about the future of PC gaming if he didn't know what mods were... in fact I'd be worried about my own sanity for that matter.

Once I get round to it (and the other TES games), I'll be playing it on the PC. Largely due to Teh Modz.

I'd love to play it on PC with mods, but my PC won't be able to run it. Well, it would be able to run it - it just wouldn't look good. I think I'll sacrifice mods for the sake of prettiness.

PS3 most likely, I just don't think my PC will be up to snuff for this one.

Its probably gonna be on my xbox. My current computer could hardly handle oblivion. Its kind of disappointing because the games play so much better with a keyboard and mouse. Maybe if I win one of those march mayhem alienware laptops I'll pick it up for PC. I guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed.

Depends, my PC won't be able to run it, and unless I win one, which won't happen, PC is a no go.
I'll probably get it on the PS3, to avoid disc switching if there's any.

My PC will totally be able to handle it way better than my 360, but I want my 7.1 sound and I want that controller in my hand, so 360 it is.

If at all possible play it on the PC, the mod community of the the previous two PC games have largely defined what makes tes so great. Sure, it's still an alright game on consoles, but it's nowhere near as good. (also you can't install expansion packs over the top, you have to buy the goty edition and remake your character).

Plug your xbox controller into your PC (even if it's wireless it's a fairly trivial task, google will help). Trust me, the mod content far, far outweighs the sexy sound goodness it's competing with, the life of the game gets extended so much it's unbelievable.
