I'm definitly going to buy this game for the PC. Currently I am looking for a nice replacement of my current PC. The reason I am getting this for PC is because of the free mods. I figured that out when I played Oblivion on PC. I started out buying Oblivion for the Xbox, had a great time and poured alot of hours into it. Then a couple of years later I wanted to get it for my PC, but by a mistake I bought it for the Xbox once more ...DAMN YOU XBOX CLASSIC BOXES, DONT LOOK SO MUCH LIKE PC BOXES!!!
I then waited until 2010 when I bought Oblivion over Steam and figured out that playing the game with mods makes it so much better. Seriously, there is some fantastic mods out there. An example of this is tjere is a person out there who created the land of Elsweyr (south of Cyrodill), with beautifil landscapes and locations. If you are interested I can provide you with a link
That is just one great mod, now image 100 other mods like this.
But to answer your question. I'll get it for the PC

Bethesda games always seem to play better on the PC.
Hands down.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with the mods...
I'll be playing it on the PC and am wondering - what is "That other thingy" I can play Skyrim on?
What are these "mods" you speak of?
As for that other thingy: You didn't hear about the new release of the total immersion simulator? Its supposed to be like a holodeck you jack into or something.
I beleve that "That other thingy" is that OnLive device. At least that is what I think. Dont know if OnLive will actually have Skyrim :/
