Okay the scenario is: You have a big test today and you did not study for it. However, the person next to you has the same test as you due to the teacher not paying attention when passing out the tests. You have a choice to make, either fail the test and be honest, or cheat on the test and risk getting caught by the teacher resulting in an F. Now I ask you my fellow escapist members what would you choose?
Personally I wouldn't cheat on the test because I wouldn't want to risk getting caught by the teacher and not only failing the test but also possibly a referral to the principle.

I don't cheat.
It's always bugged me when people do.
Besides, the person next to you could be just as clueless as you.

Option 3:

Pee your pants and cry, allowing yourself to be excused from class for the day, then study that night.

I never study, I never cheat, and I usually do well. Option A.
Haha, oh high school. I miss the days when I could say this.
I would just take the test, do my best, and try and make up for it on the next test.

I usually answer what I know, then I copy the answer I need the most, and then the second most important, so on. And by the way, I have never been caught in my entire life. EVER.

Well I'm assuming this is an American style multiple choice as opposed to the actually challenging European method of a blank piece of essay paper with a question on it. In which case I'll assume I've been listening in class and thus be able to pass it without much issue- but if I genuinly have no clue for the sake of the question...
Yes, I'd cheat. If it's between an F on my own or risking an F by taking correct answers from someone else, I'm sure my pride will consider failing much worse than passing immorally.

Quit being a wimp and take it. You are fifteen. One test won't ruin the rest of your life.

Well it would depend on which class it's for. If it's my AP World History class then I'm doomed because the tests count for 50% of the grade. The good part is that if I pass then I don't need to take the course in college.

This would never happen to me, but I don't cheat, if just because I know that every time anyone at my university cheats on a test, they reduce the value of my degree.

Who says I'd fail? You'd be surprised how often I can scrape at least a mediocre grade without studying...

In other words, no, I don't cheat.

The problem is you're assuming we'll fail if we don't study.

I've never studied a day in my life and I kick so much ass at tests, it's obscene.

Also, cheating off someone else is a bad idea - what if they're an idiot?
Ha ha! Me too, I barely study for any exams and do my essays at the last minute and still get great grades. It really pisses off my mates who study furiously but get worse grades than me.

So yea, OT, I'd not cheat because I can pull of a decent grade without having done revision. If the test is multiple choice, then it's even EASIER to guess your way through.

Nope. Most of the time, I never studied for tests and did great. Anyway I full confidence in my own personal abilities, why would I risk anything cheating off a person who could be a complete idiot?

I can't tell you because I never study for tests, but I never cheat either and I get good marks. But if it were between cheat and fail, it would depend on if I'm already failing the subject and this would push me farther in, or I'm on the brink, or have been doing great till now. Either way, I don't think I would cheat.
