1)star wars supremacy (rebellion), first star wars game i played, had the best manual ever and i still keep playing it. (it was a turn based ish space RTS and miles better than Empire at War)

2)X-wing alliance

Is Force Commander the RTS you're looking for, that AoE style thingy or Empire at War? Either way, Rogue Squadron (the first one) all the way, baby, closely followed by Shadows of the Empire.

Republic Commando was such a great game. I wish they'd come out with a sequel. I'd also like to see sequels to KotOR and Battlefront.

Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. Name me another game that can recapture that feeling and the epic battles take place in episde 4-6? Seriously the Battle of Endor really did feel like you were part of it.
Hnourable mention to KOTOR and Repuclic commando.

As much as I like the KOTOR games, my favourite Star Wars title has got to be Podracer. The Rogue Squadron titles also rank high in my opinion.

How do you figure? It's Battlefield 1942 with Star Wars skins, weapons and worlds (in fact scuttlebutt has it that it was inspired by a mod for BF1942 that did exactly that). Not that I don't think its fun, but I wouldn't call it a new concept, just one that Star Wars hadn't done before then.

Hmm I've never played Battlefield 1942 but did you have a reinforcement counter at the top, option to select a more powerful leader after a while and have to capture control points to spawn from?

Two out of three. There weren't any leader characters, but there were control points and reinforcement counters. It was a WWII game so they didn't really have any particularly powerful or unique leader characters to control. Just saying Battlefront felt like BF1942 with Star Wars skins and vehicles. Still fun though.

That was a tough decision, but only because you put KotOR and KotOR II as the same option. I still went with KotOR because it's awesome enough to more than outweigh the huge disappointment that was KotOR II.

It was an old glitchy game on the PS1, but goddamn, it gave me and my lil' bro a hell lot of hours of fun in 2 player mode. Good times...

I've still got that game! It was awesome.

The battlefront games definitely, they are by far the ONLY genuinely good things directly associated with the prequel trilogy, and that has to be worth something.
