Because I'm fucking classy, that's why, none of that wussy cider crap.
Claims to be classy. Drinks desperado's and captain morgans, both of which are drunk everywhere by uni students like myself who aren't classy. Whut? ;)

All jokes aside, I just drink rum, whiskey or more whiskey. I wish I had a more varied taste, but I don't. I'm currently liking fireball whiskey a lot, its got a good taste and its hilarious to let people assume its easy to drink when they see me have it straight. They soon find out that it takes a long time to be able to take a mouthful and not cough.

Whiskey in all it glorious forms. Straight perhaps a touch of water slightly chilled. If it is cheep i put it in coffee or tea, best drink ever.

I like actual craft beer not those Bud, Miller, Coors wheat flavored adult kool-aid. Like the man just under me i have to say Dogfish head 90 Min IPA, yeah that is rather hard to beat as is MM no one does not like MM that likes whiskey.

Also the the Ciders are girl drinks i would only agree on the ones that are not themselves fermented. Many apple ciders ans perry are fermented apple or pear juice. As for the crap that is more or less a blend of juice and vodka yeah it is not the most manly thing you can drink.

I go with the manly man combo of craft beer and bourbon
My beer of choice: Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA (it's Hops heaven...)

Cocktail of choice: Old Fashioned, with Maker's Mark

And people...Guinness is the Budweiser of stouts. Blech.

If I'm not eating, I'll have a nice ale. If I am eating in I'll have wine. If I'm eating out I can't afford the wine, so I revert to ale.
Living my life too I see.

Although I went out once and the ale was like 4 quid, so bought a 10 quid bottle of wine and drank that all night, i'm a genius

There is nothing like a crisp ale with a joint at the end of the day, it makes my troubles drift away

Either vodka or whiskey depending on my mood. I absolutely abhor beer, so I tend to stick with just liquor, and drink it in similar quantities to most people drinking beer. It's probably a good thing I'm fucking huge, otherwise I may have a problem.

Depends on the evening but I'll either have straight vodka, or if I'm mixing rum and something else. Surprisingly Capt. Morgans and Dr. Pepper is pretty good. If I'm drinking beer its usually European, mostly because all the popular North American beers are all garbage, especially Corona.

Whiskey or Vodka. I started drinking vodka because it was the only stuff I could keep at my mom's place without her drinking it instead.

Depends where ya live. It's a very, very different beer before it gets put on ice and shipped to the US. Not saying it's the greatest stout ever, but it's a good one when stored and served properly (stored room temp, served on nitro, chilled while serving). I've had the advantage of previously being stationed in Europe and vacationing in the UK, though. They really do ruin the stuff shipping it over here.
But yeah, in bottles... worst.stout.ever.

For me, lately I've been into rye whiskey. I've been drinking Old Iverholt, despite there being better ryes out there for only a little more money. *shrug* I guess I just like the history of the stuff.

I used to claim good beer as my drink of choice, but that's only in bars. Haven't been hitting bars for awhile, and even the best beer turns a little bit... meh... when you bottle it.

Rum and coke for me. Captain Morgans mostly, and "Kraken" on the very rare occasion I visit a pub cool enough to have it.

Used to drink a lot of cider but now I find it far too sweet for an alcoholic bevy.

I don't know if it's an established drink or not, but recently I started mixing 1 part each of amaretto, butterscotch schnapps, and Frangelico on the rocks. It's pretty much the best thing I've ever had.

Yum. There's just so much good stuff out there. Lagers, Ciders, rum and rum drinks, liqueurs and MOAR! I'd drink anything basically, just don't get near me with a bottle of red wine. I can't think of any alcoholic beverage that is worse than any one of the 12 different kinds of red wine I've tried. I'm always trying out something new, but here's a few favorites I would gladly return to.
You just called Laphroaig whiskey! I'm shocked / appalled.

OT: Whisky or red wine, used to enjoy ale but it fucks up my stomach something awful.

My favourites would either be Bunnahabhain or Jura, no water or ice, just straight.

Worst is probably Vodka, been ill off of that stuff one too many times. Vodka is not something for people who enjoy drink, it's for people who enjoy getting drunk.
