Me? I'm a part-time Tescos employee on Replenishment and Stock control.

Does it suck? Yes. But it's only until I go college towards end of the year.

What's yours?

I'm a college student, and my summer job is working on a research project using my programming skills with my college professor.
I only make around $12 an hour, but according to him, he will turn it into a whole new business, and hopefully, he'll invite me to work for him.

Well, I don't have a job.

But school sucks soooo ummmm.

Yes, I have a lot less responsibilities than you "employed people!"

I compose electronic music and write books, and while I love what I do, I get no money for it and only twenty people on the planet have even bothered to listen to one of my finished songs and I haven't finished my first book yet (which isn't going to be published, but rather put on the internet so I can get word of my existence out there).

Student atm, but had a summer job at an insurance company. Found it funny, but then again I worked there only a month and spent half of that time doing the reception and telephone work, always being very busy surfing the interblag as we had like 5 calls to the reception a day and rarely people coming by.
I'm pretty positive it would suck as a steady job.

I work at a movie theater in the concession stand.

If anyone has ever worked in customer service, they know how bad it is. You meet some of the dumbest people alive, have to deal with preachy moviegoers who think their opinion of every movie is the law of the land, trying to persuade you and everyone else what film they should watch or what music they should listen to, and worst of all, at minimum wage.

Well, I sort of work two jobs, which sucks, although niether sucks alone.

Job 1 - Full time rotations for pharmacy school. 40+ hours a week for free! Yay! I mean boo! I've worked in a bunch of different settings, and most are pretty cool, just not for free.

Job 2 - Part time in ...take a guess...a pharmacy. This wouldn't suck were it not for all of the free hours from Job 1 wearing me down.

Good for you, so am i. But no one cares :( lol

One day.....
According to friends (under an oath of telling the truth), I have 3 ideas, 2 of which are great

So, fingers crossed and hope for the best, right?
Yeah, i had an idea for a book and wrote out the first chapter, gave it to a few friends for oppinions and i've been told to finish it as one wants to know how it goes on and others want to buy it lol. 2 problems - It's all on my old PC, I've lost all my notes. :S

I'm doing a course in journalism at the end of the year, I really want to persue that.

I don't have a job at the moment. I used to write some columns for a national tabloid newspaper and I was a film critic on a national committee for a while. That was pretty good, I got to go on TV and everything. I kind of skipped the menial stuff.
I didn't really get paid that much for those though, so I imagine my next job will probably be just working in a DVD shop. I've applied, but they haven't got back to me yet.
Wow dude, what happened, that sounded like a good gig likes.

Cool setting, but anything involving people sucks. I want tesco to bring in a policy of "If you put it in the wrong place on the shelf, employees are allowed to whack you with it across the head.". I'm pretty sure if they brought that in, i wouldn't find cans and frozen food in the wrong place. Minimum wage sucks ass big time. The tax on top of that makes me cry

Graduate student.

My job rocks, but I don't make any money.

By the way, I'm killing a few minutes before I boil a kettle of gold.

I'm currently in TAFE, studying screen and media. I was a finance and admin assistant at a university for 2.5 years, which was fairly dull.

I am looking for other full-time work at the moment. I did manage to confuse a customer today however, which was funny as they didn't get it for a while.

There was a small rip in the side of the bag when they opened it and they said to me 'Excuse me, there is a hole in this bag' to which I replied 'Well of course there is, or how else would you put the shopping in?'

I have all my notes up here [taps head]

I have actually barely written anything.
I have everything in my head.
For all 3 books.

I think that's why I fail at school.

And good luck man!
Thanks, well I have general plot in my head but the detailed notes were the stuff i let out of my head to free up room for other stuff.... like school? Then I left so I have alot of free space which is now used by the RPer in me :D.
