Fear of not being in control. I hate rollercoasters, but I'll dive off a 10m platform. The second one is a hell of a lot more dangerous/painful if you fuck up than the first if you are not a diver.

You're not in control when you're diving. Gravity is.

If there was an option I'd put the sea. Going in pools on holiday is fine but the sea, just thinking about it scares me.

I was in the sea swimming in a reasonably deep part when I seen a man pointing to something in the sea and screaming to me to "get out right now." in an Australian accent. I stupidly went closer to whatever he was pointing at (I could stand at this point but the water was up to my shoulers) and felt something brushing up against my left knee and loads of tiny little nips, then suddenly excruiating pain. I tried to stumble back to shore and got a face full of salt since I could hardly walk and felt the nip again this time on my upper chest and neck. The guy dragged me out and I lay on the beach. I felt like I was sweating, even though I'd come out of the sea, and could hardly breath. It was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. The guy along with my parents, picked me up and rushed me to the small medical station at the beach, where I passed out and was taken to hospital. Turns out I was stung by a Box Jelly or two, and I had huge red scars where I had been stung.

Like these but bigger and on my left leg and neck and upper chest.

I've never been in the sea since.

You forgot arachnophobia- fear of spiders, also Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia - fear of long words. Not too mention Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia- fear of 666 and Arachibutyrophobia fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth. Luckily I only have a very bad fear of spiders and a small fear of dogs (I was on a beach has a kid playing cricket and I had the ball, someone's dog wanted the ball, but it got the wrong one xo).

Social phobia, fear of bugs (actually most animals), slight claustrophobia and probably a lot of other things too that I can't remember right now.

True, But I have the illusion I'm in control. There are lots more things you can do to control the dive but you can't do a thing to control a roller coaster car.

Im all good now.

DID YOU KNOW: The most common phobia in the world is the fear of vomiting!
And knowing is half the battle.

I don't have any medically diagnosed phobias. I guess I'm kind of scared of spiders, maybe.

At least you have a story to tell about how awesome you are for surviving that.
However, I want to point out that I'm A. Never going to Australia, ever. and B. If an Australian tells me to do anything, especially associated with animals, I'm doing it. Double if it's "Run"
