Poll: When and where would you rather live?

Well I think that this should be an interesting topic. Feel free to mention your own options, its just that I only had eight spaces, and didn't want to take out an option for "other." If you do suggest your own option though, please still choose the best answer for you in the poll, unless you strongly disagree with all of the options.

I'm still trying to decide between current times, the pagan Roman Empire, and the Native American America. I really like modern technology and much of our modern philosophy, but being in a Native American tribe before the arrival of Europeans might have been a nice life- it seems rather free to me. Still, the pagan Roman Empire seems like a nice mix of the two.

For the sake of the poll, I'm voting for the current state of Earth.

I think I'd be a decent viking. Bearded, 6 ft 8" and rather muscular. Of the options presented on the poll it would have to be the Roman Empire. Nice topic The simplicity of life in more ancient times appeal to me, and I've often thought that I'd probably fit in perfectly in some medieval village.

I am gonna go with Rome, but only if it looks like the show Rome. I don't know if I could deal with unwashed people and diseases in reality. On the plus side, education was "cool" and fashion was a toga!

The history buff in me would love to see Ancient Greek during the reign of Alexander. Short of that, I'd also love to visit the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire circa the reign of Julius and Augustus Caesar. Of course, being a chick, if I actually had to LIVE in these eras, things would probably not go well for me. But I'd definitely love a day pass.
