Poll: When did you hit puberty?

About 9, possibly a little earlier... yeah not having any older siblings or relatives to show me about porn and such meant I was pleasantly surprised to find out at the age of 12 that I wasn't the only person interested in nudity and similar. Sounds silly now, but I was quite innocent even for my age...

Due to this I discoverd masturbation by accident at the age of 11, didn't find out until atleast a year later that other people did it too.

Younger than 12 isn't actually "really early" for females. Many females start puberty around 11.

I did get a huge growth spurt in my second year of secondary school, which was when I was.. uh...

I know I was just adding something else to the disscussion. I realise now that it sounded a litle blunt, so I apologise. However the range of 8-13 is generally used as an average start point for puberty, due to the different onsets of the various stages. The average you refer to is the onset of the menarche.

I find it odd that people can pinpoint an exact year. It's not a finite thing that happens overnight. Anyway... I had to start shaving on a regular basis at 13. So I guess 13.
