Ok so I am doing my AS level exams this week and well I haven't written down anything all year... and I need a backup plan for when it all goes wrong! Suggestions? Or is it not too late to become a phenomenal success and get straight A's. Anyone else out there fearing utter complete failure at AS or is it just me?

Just revise like hell, do as well as you can and if you fail too badly see if you can take it again.

Going to be honest I have no idea what AS exams are. If i had to guess its like a placement kind of like the SAT but more important? In that case o well do the best you can.

I'd just give my best, I guess?
Things always worked out for me so far.

Don't lose confidence, that's the most important thing.
I know a few people who know this shit they need for their exams but get too nervous/insecure and screw up because of that, not because they couldn't do it.

Very good.

But yeah, I'm in a similar situation, only with me its my A2 exams that are coming up. I'm sick of the education system and just want out at this point, so I'm going to get a job and do distance learning when I actualy feel motivated to work towards something.

I'm taking ap exams that will mean i get colleg credit if i get high enough on the exams... If not i pretty much wasted a good part of my senior year on the class and all i get is a few non core class credit hours. I've been praying for a swine flu epidemic... completely serious there are three cases in VA still not enough i guess.

Same might, meritocracy is a scam. Study sociology, it changes everything you see in society...

A Modest Mouse song goes well here. I chose the more literal choice. (The canoe)

I don't know how it works in Europe, but I can tell you that here in Canada, high school is really not as big a deal as your teachers make it out to be. Study as best as you can, and if you screw up really badly - well, I don't know how the school system there works, but at worst you can always repeat a year, right? Anyway, if you want to do well, pursue what you're interested in.

The kids that do really well in a class are the kids who the coursework resonates with. We live in a big world. There's a lot out there, so there's got to be something you'll excel at. You'll find your niche.

(We don't even have SATs here. Our Universities accept us based on our top six high school grades.)

I got through GCSEs without revising hehe (they are a joke in comparison to A levels) The change between GCSEs and A levels is apparently the hardest I couldn't make the cut. Teachers & my parents had high hopes on me, but I am naff at timed essays aka my exams.

See, I'm the opposite.
I do really well in my exams but suck at coursework.
EDIT: Indecently, I go on my study leave next week. Woo exams!
