I was refering to the way the continents and their names were given from the book 1984. But let me give you some info that could back it up from true history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batavi_%28Germanic_tribe%29

but then the options would have been: eurasian, american, or australasian. which wouldn't have been as specific.
