Estonia. I dare you to find it on a map.
Oh, isn't Estonia part of the Eastern Europe bloc?

**checks wikipedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estonia]**

Oh, well, I was kinda right...

I'm a Norwegian. Strange that America doesn't dominate this poll, as is the case with most other on the internet.

I'm Icelandic and couldn't be more proud of it!..

I know there are only 300.000 of us and we don't have an army, but we've beaten England in 3 wars (the last one in the 1980's (known as the Cod Wars (feel free to Wikipedia it))) and no one hates us... Well except the people who oppose to whale hunting, but their all just a bunch of tree hugging hippies so their opinion doesn't count (I mean seriously, have you ever tasted Whale? It's marvelous!).
We don't have any real forest, only patches here and there, but we have glaciers. The biggest in Europe as a matter of fact.

Everyone hates war-monger's but back when we went on summer holidays in our longboats to the main land of Europe or to England to rape, pillage and steal expensive shit (because Iceland doesn't have gold mines) war mongering was cool.
Now everyone has gone soft on us and shuns the U.S. for doing the same for fossil fuels...

That's unfair you guys. The U.S. are cool too... They are the modern Vikings!..

Abergwaun, Wales. Also what I like to call.. the 'Redneck' area of Wales, virtually untouched by immigration.

I'm Welsh, and I'm not particularly proud of it... I guess it's better than being English right now.
Excuuuuse me, I'm proud. All you got is cheese on toast, sheep and a noncommittal nature to little things like self-governance. ;-)

I find it funny how this entire thread went from just asking where the poster was from too if you're proud of your nationality and why :p

I'm American. I'm from the state of Maine, which might as well be a part of canada, so I do know what "cold as fuck" is like.

Yes, one thing movies have taught us in the USA is that all foreigners prefer to speak English when no native English-speakers are about. Another is that all foreigners can be represented with an English accent, especially when your audience can't distinguish between England and, say, Estonia.

From the southeast USA myself, twixt the old worn mountains and the once-wild sleepy river.
Most brits agree that i sound awfully Scottish, whereas most players on xbl insist that i'm Australian. Weird stuff.

We were in the Eastern Bloc, it was either that or death by tank.
