"Creative zenith" is kind of vague (and it sounds like an MP3 player). BioWare didn't
create the Forgotten Realms setting or AD&D, and Black Isle didn't
create Planescape. In terms of the creativity involved, that would shift the bias towards their newer titles.
If you mean their "zenith" in terms of quality alone, that's still too early to say. They would all have to be defunct for this discussion to work.
[small]Anyway: Out of all of those, BG2 is my favorite. Torment is close, but the combat system is just too bad, and the game is basically unfinished. And they removed the Lustmord soundtrack.
DA2 is their most interesting work in terms of story/narrative, but it's pulled down somewhat by poor design discipline and repetition. For this reason DA:O is a better game, but I like DA2 more because they're actually trying to do something interesting with the plot.[/small]

I know Black Isle and Bioware were never the same company - but Origins was supposed to hark back to Baldur's Gate, etc. etc. etc.
Damn it, I missed out fallout. How did I manage that? I never played Jade Empire, but I thought the general opinion was that it was terrible?
Jade Empire is awesome. The combat system could use an overhaul, but the same could be said for every BioWare title. It's even out on the PC. Go ahead, play it.
