Water. You can control nearly anything, make people's blood stop flowing, block out the sun, use water as a barrier, use water to force toxins out, the list goes on.

Lightning

I don't have any logical reason to choose lightning over the others except I think it would be seriously cool and it appeals to me most.

Srsly imagine being the thunder god.

Im torn between fire and ice: because some say the world will end in fire others say in ice,

And I defenatly want to be in on that, they just have to confirm which so I could be in on it

block out the sun... ah yh clouds and water vapour etc.
Im goin with lightning cos that means anything electrical.. when someone is taking ages to reply on msn i just close my eyes and zap! They get a static shock from the keyboard. Or if i was in a traffic jam id screw over everyones satnavs so they end up driving into bushes. And then, theres the obvious side of shooting lightning out of your fingertips and the like, fable II style.
Hmm... actually metal sounds good too. That way instead of static shick from the keyboard, it jumps up and takes a snap at them :D> And the cars in my way can fly far far away...

well.....by control do you mean like in ATLS where you have somewhat limited control or like infinite? Like you could split the earth in half and then have both of those halves hit each other at speeds we couldn't even comprehend without even thinking about it?

Metal, just think of the fun you could have with it.

I'd be able to control the calcium in peoples bone's and make them slap themselves and walk funny.

Also, by being able to control the iron in people's blood, I'd be able to cause an instant Viagra effect on blokes at the most inappropriate times, and make people pass out or just get amusingly dizzy by moving the blood to and from their head.

I have to say, I think Magneto would have been a lot happier if he just used his powers for the lulz rather than try to take over the world.

I'm gonna go with water.

Everything needs it. There's lots of it around. Humans are 70% (ish) water. You could bend it to hydro-electricity. You could deprive people who displease you. You could cyclone the fuck out of random shit.

Ice, not so big on. I guess you could kill time by icing up the roads in the middle of summer and watching people skid out of control, but that's about it.

Mmm...how deliciously evil of me.

Metal like Magneto, or possibly the pizza guy. Imagine thinking about pizza and suddenly one shows up at your door free of charge. That seems better than all of this other stuff. For example, if I could control any of these things, I would almost certainly be hunted down for testing. However, if I controlled the pizza guy, I could just tell my friends that I ordered one in the other room. It's just the right amount of power.
