Well I have a conundrum, today I just bought three games (all on PC, all pretty oldschool), they are:
Fallout Collection (Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics)
Morrowind (with all the expansions)
Deus Ex
I'm utterly stumped as to which one I should play first, because I don't want to choke up my PC with loads of games (as I've already got Silent Hill 3, and Fallout 3 on there, and am playing through those off and on), what do you guys think? Any of those stand out as must plays?

Dues Ex first. Morrowind Next. Fallout Last.

You won't regret it.

Deus Ex is a spectacularly presented game that you'll enjoy (though dont be put off by the aparent difficulty and confusion of the first "mission", once youve done that, youll be ready for anything). Morrowind is something of a game you live in, though once again, its hard when you start off, but keep at it and youll be rewarded.

Deus ex and then Fallout... Morrowind if you must. It took me a while to get into, but overall not a bad game, just not as deep/huge as Daggerfall and not as pretty as Oblivion.

Either Morrowind or Deus Ex. Deus Ex will get you in the mood for fallout.
Course you could just bypass Deus Ex and Fallout for Fallout 3.

As long as you get round to playing all of them I really don't think it will matter too much, if I had to pick one as a starter though - I would say Deus Ex!

Haha funny you should say that, it was the other way round, just finished Fallout 3, but I haven't finished all the sidequests and don't feel like I've "really" finished the game, but that's what gave me the idea to get all of these games, all kinda in the same vein ;).

I'd start with Deus Ex, but I'm predisposed to choosing that since it IS my favorite game of all time. It's also the easiest game to end - you can dump hundreds upon hundreds of hours into the other games without ever actually completing much of anything - not that that's a BAD thing.

I'd follow that with the fallout series and wrap it all up with morrowind. If you expend as much time into fallout 1 and 2 and morrowind as I have, you should be booked until the first week of july or so.

In that case play Fallout. It story directly relates to the enclave and the reason they are in DC. :)

I got System Shock 2 for the same reason.

The game IS the sidemissions. At least where i come from we don't call that mainplot a game, we call it a sewerdump.

Oh yeah totally agree, don't get me wrong I've put a stupid amount of time into playing the game, but I don't think I'll be done playing it until I've done EVERYTHING and found every cool bit of scenery.

It really doesn't matter. They're all fantastic games, so whatever you pick, A WINNER IS YOU!

If I were you, I'd end up playing Morrowind first, and eventually forget about the other games, simply because there's so much to do in there.

So maybe picking that as the last one would be best, I haven't played Deus Ex, but played through the Fallout 1 demo multiple times (hey, I was 10 years old, and my parents didn't buy me a lot of games, so I just played craploads of demo's (which lasted more than half an hour back in the day))
