PC and PS2 because they have the best game libraries. Since the whole point of a console is playing games I don't see why you'd use any other criteria.
True, nothing beats PS2 for variety. The only problem I find with PC's is their unrealibility and how much one system varies with another. At least with a gaming console, a game will work just as well on any other one.

For me it's a tie between my computer and my 360. I love both, and I have certain games I like on one over the other, so it's just a matter of what kind of mood I'm in at the time

The SNES was pretty good to be fair. Modern day I'd say 360. I hate the Wii and I've never tried playing a PS3, so until then I'm going to stand by my well-informed decision haha.

I voted for Xbox360, funny thing, I dont actually own one yet, but I'm planning on getting one soon. The main reason I picked that is because of the Games that are exclusive to it, and the more... casual gaming aspect to it. Personally I play video games a lot, but I've had ps2,and ps1 since I was a kid, and the new ps3 feels more like you have to play and do it perfectly to unlock stuff rather than play for fun.

But thats just me.

Oh, also I was torn between the computer too because I've had some good times playing Left 4 Dead and WoW, but it just doesnt appeal to me all that much anymore, I detoxed from wow and focus on consoles now

Deffinately the Xbox 360 however if i were to choose something older it would be a toss between the Sega megadrive and the Nintendo 64.

1) Done before.........MANY TIMES!
2) Defcon 1 for flame wars
3) You really need to split up the handhelds (loads love this DS and despise the PSP)

As for my vote, computer all the way baby!

Wow... you seem to make a lot of topics and posts that are likely to start flame wars...

That being said I think the Xbox 360, main stream games, amazing multiplayer, very few bugs, updates that actually matter and good DLC

I will probably get a lot of stick for saying this but as the console wars are grounding to a halt I think the Xbox has won

Nintendo DS.
I travel a lot by bus and train, and play to pass the time. I play with consoles and PC less and less.

I am a fan of versatility. With that said my favourite gaming systems are PC and PSP. Both are extremely versatile and can go above and beyond gaming. My PC can play any game I want it to, and my PSP can play my music and games...and if I ever get it modded I got a plethora of old school games to fill it with :)

I'm gonna go ahead and say my Nintendo 64, nothing beats Majora's Mask.

i would have to go with the xbox 360 for number 1 because it has a huge base for x box games, which is fantastic for me because i had an x box for about 5 years, and has probably the largest online capability of the big 3 out there today. Then the Sega Genesis is in second because it also has tons of fun games that i still occasionally pop in every once in a while, and because it was my first game console. then in close second is the ps2 because of the playability, entertainment value, and game base. its also very cheap and was a great console to have and to hold.

I consider them all to different to pick a favorite. Each has its ups and downs and it's really up to what kind of mood I'm in... But I suppose that's how a gaming market should be.
