I use IE7 but find it to be gods-awful slow, full to the brim with glitches, and they don't do tabs right---one tab crashing shouldn't honk the whole browser.

Strongly considering switching to Firefox or Opera since Microsoft has pretty well proven that they simply can't build a browser correctly anymore (I say "anymore" because WAY back in the day IE5 beat the living hell out of Netscape, and what did Netscape do? It went whining to the Department of Justice. Enjoy the scrap heap with RealPlayer and every other Web gadget from 1999 that got beaten by a better product and blamed Bill Gates.)

What's taking you so long to switch to Firefox?
Last time I tried it (in 2006) I despised the interface, and the plugin system angers me to no end. I expect my webpages to just work out of the box without me having to invest time and energy in fiddling with the browser.

I use Google Chrome, as IE is total shit. And I like Firefox, but I wasn't that impressed by it. Chrome moves way faster, so it makes more sense.

When given the option between IE and Firefox on the school computers though, the choice is obvious.

...So how do you know dislike it?

That's like saying I dislike Halo, but I have very little experience with it.
From my little experience with it. First impressions count for a lot you know.

I used explorer for a long time until a friend of mine introduced me to mozilla, which I have used ever since, and it has proven to be very reliable.

I use Firefox and Opera about evenly. They are both great browsers. I gotta say, if Opera had the addon capabilities of Firefox, it would probably be the best browser out there. Everything is so smooth and fast with it.

I use Opera to watch TV shows on Hulu and such, mainly. It performs better with streaming video than any browser (smoothest full-screen, buffer times, etc.) for me. On both of my computers.
