..That you have turned into a vampire,a werewolf or have a curse?

Now.before you scream vampire, think about it.

Point One: You are stuck immortal, which can be annoying

Point Two: Your Family and friends you'll have to leave

Point Three: Remember the Adam Junkies you see in bioshock? You'll be them in a more passive way

Point four: Every living thing except humans will fly, swim or away from you. This would happen and it is NOT unnoticeable. (Before you say that's zombies, think about it. Creatures run away from predators, and a vampire is a predator.)

Point Five: You aren't even human any more.

In my book, losing your humanity,is like losing your life.

Not like the other two are any better.

Werewolf, definitely. Not some pansy vampire.
However, as for your first point, you could always kill yourself when you're sick of (un)life, so that's not really an issue. Point two, you could just turn them if you want to have buddies and family around. Point five, well, werewolves are at least part-time humans. Heh. But you're right, vampires would always be undead. I wonder if they smell...
Curse might be a good alternative, too, depending on the specifics of said curse, of course.

Werewolf all the way!
Always given the choice I choose werewolf. I think being able to turn into a powerful animal would be awesome.

Why would my family make me leave if I was a Vampire?
OT: Still werewolves. They are too awesome.

Counter one: Point.

Counter two: What if they don't want to?

Counter three: Yeah,at least

I still say vampire because most of the reasons you listed are things I can deal with, especially the immortal one.

But if I start sparkling I'll drive a stake into my own heart.

agreed, although no-one I know has seen that movie so vampyres are still cool in my circle, just spell it with a 'y' and you can ignore the posers

My God, so many depressing threads recently! Are emos taking over the Escapist?
I already have a curse on me anyway.
And if I'm a vampire I want to SPARKLE.

Heh, in my case, it was actually Underworld that made me prefer Werewolves.
Oh, and the "tragic hero"-aspect of werewolf-tales. You know, the stories of people who can't help changing or don't even know they're a werewolf and wake up the next morning covered in blood.

Vampire, there just cool, as long as there the Buffy/Anne rice kind and not the crappy twilight kind.

Point One: I can live forever which is my partial life ambition also Who cares I'm a freakin Vampire

Point Two: I don't care I'll make new friends (who's throats I can rip out) and Who cares I'm a freakin Vampire

Point Three: Who cares I'm a freakin Vampire!

Point four: Who cares I'm a freakin Vampire!

Point Five: Who cares I'm a freakin Vampire!

Vicious, uncontrollable animal which will probably eat everyone you are ever close with, but yeah.

As a vampire you retain control over yourself all the time, you'd just have to have a stockpile of blood (might I reccomend draining a field of cows, and keeping their blood in your fridge). Sure you might be scary, but people can work around that, and live with you if you maintain control. Yes, immortality will eventually drive you to suicide or recklessness from boredom, but whatever.

A curse depends on the curse, and since that depends on the specifics, I can't respond to it.

I guess you know where I'm going with this.

Hmm. Depends on how human you still are after your transformation, I guess.
Would I force it on them now? No, of course not.
Would I if I had become a blood-sucking monster and thought it was a "great improvement", you know, with a twisted perspective? That it really was in my family's and friends' best interest? Maybe.

YOU DRINK BLOOD. YOUR ONLY REASON IS TO KILL. WHO WOULD WANT TO GO NEAR YOU?

Depends if its the werewolf were on a full moon I turn into a half man half wolf thing and kill people and don't even remember then I'd be a vampire. If I'm a werewolf that keeps my sanity then defiantly a werewolf.
