Mirror... Potentially. Sure, you might have a mirror that has a rough surface, curves slightly, makes you look fat. But then you might have a 2 megapixel camera... That is zoomed in. But really, despite your reflection being flipped, a mirror is more accurate, in that it's "real life resolution".

Mirrors. When I open my eyes wide, I look creepier in the photo because of the flash.

Me: "Look in the display of this digital camera."
My friend: "Ok."
Me: "Now, look at me in the mirror. Can you tell what is the mirror and which is the camera?"
My friend: "..."

As long as the mirror is flat all it really does is flip the image around. It doesn?t have much distortion other than that. Photos; flatten, their perspective turns out differently from what we might see, they see light differently from us and they distort around the edges because of the curved lens.

Photo's. When I see a photo of myself I know thats what I looked like normally. In a mirror It's what I look like then. That doesn't help because I don't like at myslef in the mirror only after a shower or whatever so I look very differnt to mid afternoon.

Unless thats when I take my shower which isn't uncommon.

What the hell? Mirror by far if you mean an accurate representation of yourself...

Umm can you say near unlimited resolution vs even the best HD camera?

Depends on conditions really o.o

I will say that a mirror has more utility than a photo for attempting to realise an effective acknowledgement of one's presentation.

Of course that being said mirrors, unlike photos, are dynamic. So I guess a mirror is able to display the changes (no matter how small) if you stand infront of one for any amount of time. Photos are merely a postcard within spacetime.

I'm not sure how relevant this is, but my Drawing professor had us do self-portraits from mirrors, and dismissed the use of photos. So, take that for what it's worth.

A single image will never be able to capture anything in actuality with much accuracy. Sometimes this can make an image startlingly beautiful, or drab and unexciting - but it almost never makes it accurate.

A photograph represents you at that exact moment in the past, whereas a mirror shows you right here, right now.

Depends on the quality of the photos and the mirrors, but I'll say photos.

A mirror in general, but several photos if you want to see whatever changing over time.

Yeah, so would I, but it's the psycho kind.
