Poll: Which is more, Big or Large?

So my girlfriend And I were talking at dinner this past weekend and I started asking a buch of random questions and asked if elephants had big ears. Stupid question, yes and very random. But she said no they have large ears (I think she's just trying to bust my balls), but that answer sparked a discussion about what was the more or larger of the two. So I put this poll to the masses and ask, Which do you think is bigger, big or large?
You can tell me why if you what but I was just interested to poll to see which way people think. Personally I think big is big and large is just under it.

Big seems like a measurement of height or width (The latter of which is what "Wide" is for,)
While Large seems like a measurement of capacity.
Thats just me, though.

Not possible, because, as we all know, small is smaller, but tiny is tinier. Same basic principle.
