Soldier. Why? Imported class. Don't give me that look. The one that says that I'm playing as a soldier and therefore some kind of thick-skulled FPS freak who only plays Mass Effect because of the shooting. That's right, you leave.

Sorry, mind wander, what was I talking about?

Oh yeah, soldier. I picked soldier in the first place because I heard that the game was basically a shooter RPG. Well, sure enough, it was basically an RPG with combat focusing on the use of guns. Why should I pass up the option to be a class that is good at the game's primary mechanic?

But this isn't about that. It's about what I will be playing. Soldier.

Infiltrator first, gotta stay true to my main class, then vanguard, then maybe adept, why because I've never actually tried being a full biotic.

Infiltrator. Owns from any range if you know how to play it, you don't have to be a straight sniper class. Plus, it feels like being a riddick/solid snake-esque fighter... and there are no downsides to that.

Otherwise... Vanguard FTW.

At first, Soldier. On my first game I like to stick close to what I know best, and on my latter games I like to do other classes.

Infiltrator. Keep the skillset for my import shep. Plus I find Infil the most fun to play.

Gonna import, so it's going to be Sentinel, Infiltrator, Solider, and Sentinel. In that order.

am i the only one wo gets real plessure out of creating a black hole that send my enimies into orbit? ADEPTS RULE! adepts dont need heavy weapons, they ARE heavy weapons! and i still dont understand all those boring people out there who play through the game ONCE with a standard soldier and dont replay the game, i think in order to get the full mass effect experience you need to play the game with all the classes, being honest i found the solider so boring that as soon as i created it i instantly turned the game off :D *due to the Adrenaline rush+ Shoot = end of game :p*

I always have a hard time deciding between Vanguard and Infiltrator, but I always start out with the Vanguard class.
Good thing I finished the game with every class so I can import whatever class I want to start out with.

I'll be playing the Infiltrator class first time (imported ME1&2 character, naturally). Two of my friends both think I'm lame for playing the ME series more like a shooter, as I'm not interested in trading a sniper rifle for the biotech powers, they both prefer playing Vangaurd, but I love pistols and snipers, especially the M-97 Viper auto-sniper and the M-6 Carnifex heavy pistol in ME2 (probably the M-5 Phalanx even more, but don't recall if I downloaded it).

I did a quick search and couldn't find this particular question, so if a very close question has already been asked, please let me know.
Aw man, taking down 3 guards with a sniper-rifle while slow-mo, is fucking awesome. Nothing makes you feel more of a bad-ass than seeing them reaching for their weapons and then dropping them one by one.

Solider. I have played through ME2(dont have ME1) 10+ times, 4 as a soldier.

I am best with the solider and just plow through things with him on Insane difficulty. I will play the other classes for sure, but my true Shepard will come first.

Soldier. The real question is Male or Female. I get the feeling Shepard is supposed to be male, but femshep seems so much cooler for some reason. Much better voice acting for one thing.
