Poll: Which numbers do you use?

So, I'm just curious. For the numbers on the keyboard, do you use the numbers along the top or the ones on the pad off to the right?

For myself, I use the ones along the top, always have. Though, a lot of people say that the little number pad is better.

Now what about you?

It really depends on what I'm typing. If it's a longish string of numbers, the numpad. If it's just one or two, or numbers and letters together, I use the top row.

I don't have a number pad, so I'm forced to use the top numbers. On a normal keyboard, I use the pad.

I'm faster with the num pad than I am with the top numbers, but only one or two numbers generally results in using the top numbers.

I make the shape of the number through multiple letters on the keyboard. Takes forever, but it's worth it.

I had a laptop for so long that I got used to using only the top numbers, so now that I've got a desktop PC again and the numpad is once more available to me I still only use the top buttons. Go figure.

If I need to type a random string of numbers for whatever reason, like this ----> 23415415, numbers to the right.

Well, mine has both and is an Acer Aspire 7730.

It depends what I'm doing. Numbers up the top for when I'm typing and there's only a few numbers and the keypad for when I'm doing data entry that requires a lot of numbers.

I only have a laptop (and its angering me because I can't play the Steam games I bought due to its refusal to use the graphics cards we have), so I only have the top numbers.

Numpad. It is just so much faster, even having to move my hand all the way to the other side of the keyboard. Unlike most, I use it even if I have a single number to type out.
