I got some spare money to spend on videogames and I thought I should get some good old game I didn't had the chance to play yet.
So I checked the xbox live store and found these games: Halo, Jade Empire, Psychonauts and Stubbs the zombie.
I heard good things for all of them, and since they all have the same price I'm rather hesitant.
Which one do you think I should get and why?

Out of those, Jade Empire.
It's a great experience, and it involves a lot of kung-fu.

Not Halo, cos that's been done better.
Jade empire, not that great, maybe worth it
Psychonauts is pretty funny, but I found the game itself lacking
Stubbs is the worst IMO.

What's wrong with steam or whatever.

Ooooo....tough choice. Hmmm...I'm torn between Jade Empire and Psychonauts. They're both excellent, but for completely different reasons. You know, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Jade Empire, simply because you'll never run out of reminders to play Psychonauts.

Psychonauts I think.
It is a damn good game.
JE is an unbelievably close second though.
Which one you'd say have a more compelling story?

Great game. Never anyone did a flight simulator so funny. And c'mon you could drive tie fighters!
But, yes, I already have that.

Jade Empire.
Should've asked this 2 weeks ago when it was under 5$ on Steam.
Never mind, I don't even know if this coffe boiler I have could handle that much graphics...
;-)
I gotta stick to the xbox.

Timesplitters 1!

But meh. Is Halo a classic? I've never heard it that way before. Pshyconauts is probably the best one from what i've seen.

Psychonauts for sure. It's a great, fun little game and easily the best on the list. On a side note...

Jak and Daxter!
I also recommend all three of the main games that were on the PS2. I didn't have nearly have as much fun with Jak X and haven't been able to play the Lost Frontier yet, but Jak and Daxter, Jak II and Jak 3 definitely worth it.

The Sly Cooper games on the PS2 are also a lot of fun as well.

Jade Empire was good, but I had the most fun with Stubbs. Still haven't gotten around to Psychonauts yet.

None of those are old games. Well they are kind of old, but I thought you meant NES or PS1 before I read the OP.

Dude, no. Those are not classics. the Genesis-era Sonic the Hedgehog games (+Adventure 1 & 2) are.
I managed to play almost any of the "older" games. A real old classic could be prince of persia, monkey island, day of the tentacle.
But I already played most of those games, I'm around in the gaming world since quite some time, at this point.
It happened, instead, that I missed some of the not-so-old-but-still-classic-(kind of classic *I'm looking to you Halo and Stubbs*)-games because I didn't have a xbox or a ps1/2.
So from the xbox store definition of classic games I found these...
That's all... I guess..
:)

Jade Empire is worth getting, but I'm pretty sure you can get the Special Edition on PC for a lot less than the standard X-Box version on Live, if your computer can handle it.

Otherwise just get it on your X-Box, because even if it is more expensive it's still worth it for John Cleese's character alone.
