Poll: Which to buy?

I'm trying to decide which game to buy and it's come down to fallout new Vegas against dead rising two. I was going to get fallout but reading yahtzees reviewish thing, has sorta swayed me. So simple question, which does the general consensus prefer?

Depends what you want...

Both are free exploring openworld games with a story that you can choose to completely ignore.

Simply one is about Zombies and one is about Vegas...

It's difficult to pick but overall I'd say Fallout, and I loved Dead Rising 2.

I found Dead Rising 2 a rather large disappointment, and I haven't played New Vegas.

Soooo, those were my two cents.

Out of them two, Fallout. If you had Fable 3 I would have gone for that.

It just depends on your tastes.

A Buddy of mine got New Vegas and it looks like a lot of fun.
He hasn't had any problems with it either.

But i have played the first DR and DR 2 is supposed to be pretty much the same thing but better.

Really it depends on if you want a First Person RPG with a load of Character customization.
Or a 3rd Person action game with weapon customization.

Well I have New Vegas but I don't have Dead Rising 2. So I'm biased. New Vegas is definitely a great game. I'd probably get that. It's a large map, plenty of content, quests and an interesting "hardcore" mode.

I am playing Fallout: NV for the PS3. So far, I haven't any problems when it comes to bugs in most reviews are saying. There is a pause at times like a slowing frame rate but no crashes yet, knock on wood. If you like the fallout series, this is the same. I like it.

I have dead rising 2, I like it alot. Killing zombies is cool. I just hate the time limit. It takes the fun of taking the time to kill zombies while you are running on missions. The combining items to make uber weapons makes killing zombies an absolute blast. I know you don't have to complete all the side missions and just the main one, but I am mission oriented. It bugs me that don't complete all the missions. But that's just me. Overall just killing zombies with the weapons you make is great.

Fallout New Vegas is fantastic. I don't know much about Dead Rising two, but I'd still recommend New Vegas, simply because I can only think of 1 or 2 games that might potentially be better than it.
