Poll: Which to play first?

I recently picked up used copies of Shadow of the Colossus and Silent Hill 2. I figure even if I don't enjoy them at least I won't have to listen to certain people(Yahtzee) talk about them as the greatest thing ever without any opinion of my own. I'm actually on vacation right now and my PS2 is back home, but I'd like to have this decision out of the way by the time I get back.

I usually play RPG's and a bit of strategy, so I don't have much preference for one or the other, genre-wise. And I hope I don't really have to say this, but please avoid excessive spoilers.

Personally, I'd say Shadow of the Colossus (just plain because IMO it's the greatest game ever). It's short, so even if you don't like it you can finish it and play Silent Hill quickly.

Shadow of Colossus, relax and take your time on it and enjoy it like a peice of art(which it is in my opinion)

Then play Silent Hill in the dark at night, preferbly on your own
