Poll: Which Ultima Virtue is Yours?

Someone in another part of the forums (who shall remain nameless for their protection and privacy and all that is Amurricun) came up with something about the virtues of the Lakota medicine wheel.

All four of them.

I thought that was a little lame (nothing against you Lakota folk out there, but sheesh), and thought I'd ramp things up a little bit by referencing a game that actually helped bring the very idea of "moral choice" to the industry in the first place: ULTIMA IV.

So...which of the Ultima Virtues is yours?

Hey I saw Ultima IV at a flea market the other day, it was around 5 bucks, is it worth it???
And I do like Retro RPGs by the way so it may not matter if it feels a little dated.
Well anyway I went with honesty because I rarely ever lie and I'm not really any of them so I guess I don't think I fit any including honesty so, yeah.

Huh... Seems I made a mistake I'm actually a tie between Sacrifice and Humility and suck at Honesty, but most of all am very dishonorable and apparently my main principle is love, guess I'm kind of a hippie now.

Meh, I've got claims for all of them, and against all of them. However, honor is the one I picked. Compassion and honesty are close seconds, but have more claims against them.

Yeah, I have Ultima VII (and it's expansion), VIII, Underworld and Underworld 2, though the underworld ones have tons of lag on my PC, VIII works just fine but I had to find a program called Exult to be able to run VII.

Uh, if i HAD to come up with one, I guess Honesty? None of them really apply very well, though Honesty is probably the closest.

Of the bunch, my virtue is humility. I am not cocky, have little ego, and I know my limits. I also have a sense of humour aboot myself. The others I vary. For instance I'm honest for the most part and am willing to sacrifice for others but I'm not as valorous or compassionate.

Well, the game had you do a personality test which would start you off with the one you were closest to, and then you had to earn the rest of the Virtues throughout the game in order to win.

Yeah, I went with Justice too. -

Yep. Personality test confirms this. 5/7 for Honesty and 6/7 for Compassion, with Humility third at 4/7 and all others being far lower scores.

I'd say Justice. I may be a heard hearted bastard, I may think far too much of myself, and I may even lack the courage to finish anything to better than 90% but at least I try and be fair in my dealings in the world

Dammit, "Chastity" isn't a virtue here. Asexuals* always win that one.

Still, my virtue would have to be compassion. I'm very emotional, and don't like to hurt people. Its just naturally in me to feel for others. And I have the mothering instinct of a female bear- I don't have children, but I feel it so much. I feel a physical reaction to anything related to babies. I think that's gotta count for something.

Increase the cycles by pressing CTRL+F12. It should make the game playable.

Interesting. I would have thought honor and justice would have been higher. I thought that the quiz that was linked would be a little different but it was actually kind of cool. Don't know how spirituality got to be so high though. I guess because I want to follow my own dreams and help people?
