I'm going to bend the rules a little here and say that I'd most like to have a popit.
Literally infinite creative potential at my fingertips. I could use it to save and recall anything I liked. Copy a car, place it 50 times. Want money? Can create unlimited piles of gold.
As for it being a weapon? Please, I can build any weapon I like with it.
The Halo pistol is a handheld device of doom, destruction and murder so I'll have to go with that.
Although, the Alien Blaster is pretty close. That thing is so ridiculously overpowered.
Also what is the difference between the crowbar in Half Life compared to a real life crowbar other than it was held by Gorden Freeman? I suppose it wouldn't get dented comapare to the real one so would it invincible?
More powerful then a modern assault rifle, no kickback, lots and lots of ammo, cartridges that refuel themselves when exposed to light and heat (You can even throw them in the fire for a quick recharge, but it damages the cartridge if you're unlucky). Cheap, easy to manufacture, few moving parts, virtually no jams, simply a perfect weapon.
40K being 40K, it is one of the weakest weapons in the setting. Gotta love 40K.
For the more badass amongst us, there's also a pistol variant, so you can also wield one of the ridiculous overpowered close combat weapons from the setting, like a powerfist (Doubles the baste strenght of it's wielder, think a fist strong enough to punch through a tankhul), powerweapons (Lightsabres, only more Grimdark), or my favorite, the chainsword, a swordchainsaw, like this guy is wielding:
For me it is a glorious tossup between the Meltagun (Fires a powerful beam of fuel going through something fusiony to agitate targets molecules like a microwave does to water, reducing tanks to slag) and the Cerebral Bore.
