Rosie O'Donnel. Her stand up just sucks ass. When she used to do it. Then Larry the Cable guy. Not funny at all. So lame it hurts my brain.

I don't know how so many people could think Dane Cook is worst. "Other" is an option, ya' know?

I can understand not liking Dane, but COME ON!!! Half the people who "hate" Dane don't hate him because they don't find him funny. They hate him because he's popular even though they don't get the humor. "How is this possible?! WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE THIS GUY??? HE SUCKS!"

It's all about lashing back at his popularity. Where's the logic in hating ANYTHING because of the level of popularity associated with it? It shows a resentment towards other people. A resentment probably motivated by selfish reasons.

Halo is a good example of this kind of lash back in action.

He would be okay if he didn't... talk li...ke this... with pauses after every other word.
I cannot stand Shappi Khasandi (sp?)
Yes, you're an Iranian female comedian. Stop fucking talking about it!

Haha too fucking true. Theres also a male iranian comedian and he likes to go on about it in every frigging sentence. Then there is the black woman who goes on about being black in every joke. You don't see white comedians reminding the audience that they are white do you?

I find parsons, boyle and howard to be boring on mock the week now. Their jokes are all copies of the ones they use in stand up and after seeing a Frankie Boyle DVD ( turning it off half way) I can proove that Frankie Boyle has no original ideas or jokes.

Martin freakin' Lawrence. Think of him as a terrible version of Chris Rock. Rock can get away with some risquè jokes because he remembers to be funny. The same cannot be said of Lawrence. One of his routines involves saying that anyone of Middle-Eastern origin (and Indians, for no discernible reason) is a terrorist, and that verbally abusing an innocent Indian cab driver is gut-bustingly hilarious. Yeah, that's great comedy.

Not finding him funny is the same thing as not getting the humour. You realise that right?

They are all shit because americans cant do standup although the worst there is jeff duhnam who has never ever been funny in his life. I really dont think that any of his puppets are funny at all but achmed is especially awful. Ricky Gervais should be on the list because he is the worst British comedian but i stand by my opinion that none of the comedians in this poll have ever been funny.

Why the fuck is Jimmy "STOP LOOKING AT THE FUCKING CAMERA!" Fallon not on this list!?

As for the best, i would have to go with Eddie Izzard. He is funny on so many levels. The best part is stupid people often don't get his jokes.

Oh good god.

Russell effing Brand, and the cultish worship that seems to follow him.

Dylan Moran for the win.

I realize this. Perhaps I wasn't clear in pointing out the difference HATING a comedian and NOT GETTING HIS HUMOR.

The worst comedian is someone you will never know because he will never be known.
Already mentioned, but the worst known comedian to me is Carlos Mencia. He WAS funny..until I realsied he was an ignorant dumbass.

Dane Cook is probably the worst comedian I can think of. I would have said Glenn Beck, but I remembered that he is not an actual comedian - shouting and crying on stage about "them" versus "us" is not comedy.

Someone has already mentioned Ricky Gervais. He was OK in the office, but he seems to be a bit of a one trick pony.

Worst comedian though has to be Jimmy Carr. His jokes are terrible, and his response to heckling is merely "Well, I'm superior so fuck you." in that plum posh accent that makes every swear word he utters absolutely 'hilarious'

Best comedians...quite a few. Bill Bailey, Dylan Moran, Stephen Fry, Lee Evans, Noel Fielding, Russell Brand and the great Billy Conolly.

Pretty much anyone (and this problem plagues a large percentage of comedy) who thinks that just because you swear in a sentence its automaticly funnny. Now swearing can be funny with correct timing but saying something like "So I had to catch the fucking bus today" isn't funny.
