I'll admit I don't know all of these characters well, but I pick Murray.

He doesn't kill people, he hasn't got crippling issues and he really never loses his temper even when the situation is incredibly frustrating...which is the definition of cool, right?

I like him.

Well, except for his best moment...

Both Batman and Picard are awesome, but for different reasons. Batman is the dark vigilante who is unafraid to break a few rules to set things right. Picard is capable of doing most of that without breaking the rules. But as far as pure "coolness", Batman edges out slightly ahead.
