To all the people quoting the post saying "the unbiased sections are really unbiased" and then posting some video with some vile bias in it: Before you pat yourselves on the back for how clever you are, please note that Fox doesn't run Beck, fox & friends, and Hannity 24/7. Posting clips from early morning think tanks and prime time commentators isn't proving anyone wrong, it's just a stupid manipulative excuse for an argument.

BBC all the way. The BBC seems to be neutral so you get a less bias report. I've watched FOX news I had to do about it as part of my media course at college. FOX news is not fair and balanced, Bill O Reilly is one ignorant bastard who doesn't let any one with a different opinion speak on his show. He interrupts them, tells them to shut up or turns there mike off. I also had to watch out Foxed... no FOX is fucked.

Also the whole thing about BBC being bias is a little stupid, it's mostly because of it's neutral stand-point that it faces allegations of bias. A lot of right wingers criticise the BBC for being bias towards the left wing and vice versa.

I think this can often be the trouble when you try and remain neutral, the right will say your left and the left will say your right.

I've tried to watch FoxNews before, but I just can't stomach some of the stupid stories they run. "Social Networking Sites Used as a News Reference"... this is really something to report on the news? Doesn't this sound like someone chasing their own tail? We're reporting on a story about where we get our stories... stupid.
And since when in the heck did Twitter become a valuable news source anyway? I'm not talking about news channels that have their own Twitter feeds and invite viewers to comment on stories, I'm talking about stories that start off of someone's Twitter feed. That means that someone in an a back office is scouring Twitter for something to report on. What kind of lazy journalism is that?!
FoxNews has been caught many times screwing up stories (sometimes blatantly) and putting it on the air, which gets caught by all the other news channels and reported on. Granted, no one is perfect, but Fox doesn't have the best track record in that department. And for the fact that they added Sarah Palin as a commentator pretty much sealed their reputation as being teh suks for me. Doesn't hurt that HLN has some hot newscasters, either. Yeah, I'm talking about you, Robin Meade.

anyone remember the evil gang of internet hackers on steroids that 4chan apparently is? you know, because that's what FOX said. and how does you girlfriend not believe you when you tell her that the hundreds of gay porn pictures on you're myspace and facebook weren't your idea?

I guess what I'm saying is I don't like FOX news because they lie, but the local stuff is actual news(as long as no politics are involved). and the thing about them being unbiased, well, no news is unbiased, it just isn't. you might take that wrong, but I can say that none of the news stations up there are completely unbiased, even the ones I watch.
