Poll: Why do we create posts?

If you make posts [...] out of boredom then you shouldn't be posting.

Are you sure about that? I would think that a lot of good posts come from someone passing by because they are bored.

I mean the random, crappy ones that always start with "so im bored lol"

Well people like to talk and voice their opinions, me included. So why not go where there is always somone to talk to:the internet. I'm also gonna say that this question was probably made in the hopes of getting badges or something along the lines of that because if not, it's very poorly thought through.
