The forums, they're addictive, I have a good few friends on them, there's (generally) good discussion to be had, and people seem to like me.

Seriously though, I came here for the articles, particularly Shamus Youngs. I also like "SCIENCE!" view from the road (albeit the article writers stance on PC gamers, I disagree.) and then the general news articles.

Although I STAY because there are some interesting bloaks on here, great discussion on various topics, and no one has called me a "fucking shit head" yet... well... Yet.

I like the Escapist for its forums and community.
Although right now things seem a bit dull... just a lull in the usual energy overflow of the forums, probably.
But anyway, that is why I like the Escapist.
and the fact that it is kept under control by the mods.
Keeps it under control...
