I use PS3 and nothing else. Played the Wii games I "needed" when I borrowed a friends, same with Xbox and after those 6 or 7 games there is nothing that I can justify buying each console for. PS3 has better exclusives I enjoy and any multiplatform stuff are on it too (obviously), timed exclusives for Xbox never bother me because I never buy games on release day anyway.

PS3, PC, Wii, GC, N64, SNES. Right now I am a bit platform agnostic, though I used to swear by Nintendo.
I own a PS3 instead of an XBox since I thought that the exclusives appealed more to me at the time. I haven't been entirely wrong, but I would have loved to play Alan Wake and Gears of War. Oh well. I think the BluRay-player mellows it out somewhat. I play platformers(Mario, Outland etc.) and adventure games (Zelda, Darksiders, Ratchet and Clank etc.) on consoles as I like to use a controller for those games and I play FPS's, RTS's and puzzles on PC. I prefer a mouse and keyboard for shooters as I really can't figure out how not to die with a controller.

Xbox:360 and PC.

Xbox because my T.V. isn't blu-ray and the fact that it has some great exclusives. The first part is the main reason but even if it is fairly minor I haven't regretted my purchase once. PC to play strategy games and to use Steam.

Xbox at the time halo was the king (before cod4 came out and boot halo off that throne)Mass effect was still Xbox and pc only, and at the time I lacked the funds to get a good quality gaming PC, and still do. =(
Edit: PS2 still plugged in and going strong!

I'm a PS3 man, but I use my X360 occasionally, I also like to go retro and play my PS2, or my Gamecube. I use my PS3 more than anything, for movies, for games that are on both consoles, for netflix, for pretty much everything.

The discs run smoother, the online is free and the controls feel not only tighter by more natural to me, and I grew up on GC so there's no favoritism here, especially since after the GC, my 2nd home console was my friend's Xbox

I use my PC, PS3 and PSP - well, and sometimes still the PS2.
I like to to play JRPG's, or things like Shadow of the Colossus, 7 Killers etc which i can't get on the PC, so i have the playstations for this kind of games.

Oh and somewhere I have a SNES and N64 but they aren't in use ;)

I prefer my Xbox, but I do enjoy some games on PC.

1) I find a handy dandy controller to be far more comfortable to operate than kb/mouse. I can lay back, sit back, even play upside down if I want to.

2) All my friends (real friends from actual life) own 360s and are on Live. I'm probably the nerdiest of the bunch and the only one of them that plays some of my games on PC. Since I moved away from them all for a job, I can still connect with them this way and play the multiplayer games we always loved this way.

PC: Beacause it is the MASTER of ALL

Xbox: Because Im used to it the most and most of my games are on it

then PS3: Because of blu ray and exclusive games for ps3

And thats it. (Exept I have WII and other but I dunno want to mention it)

PC, Wii, and PS3.

I got the Wii because it is, by nature, something that can't be replaced by my rig.

I got the PS3 because it has a variety of interesting exclusives like Valkyria Chronicles, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, Super Meat Boy, Infamous, Red Dead Redemption, and other stuff I can't get on my PC.

I don't have a 360 because A) Microsoft engages in some pretty fucking unsavory business practices, B) They don't have many things I can't get in the other three platforms, and C) Xbox Live. It just...sucks.

Oh, and D) Holy shit do these consoles have shitty quality control. I hear about a red ring from my friends, what, once a month? And I've taken one apart once to take a look and it might as well have been put together with glue stick.

I have the 360, PS3 and the Wii, so I'll instead make this about why I'm a console gamer rather than a PC gamer.

Mostly it's because consoles are easier, they don't require updates/high-maintenance, I vastly prefer a controller to a keyboard/mouse, I hate sitting hunched over my computer monitor, and would rather just kick back on a couch or bed and play games on my TV.

Like 98% of the games I want to play are on consoles. Some of them are also on PC, but like I said, the console is just easier and more convenient and more comfortable, so that's why I go with consoles.

I use a computer because I already had a computer for work, and the only thing that needed to add to it to be able to play modern games was a 100$ graphics card.
The cheapest current gen console costed 200$,so I thought it would be better investment to pay half the money that I would spend for a console on a part for my PC that will let me play the same games.
It was a budget issue.

The mods, slightly better graphics, and lower prices for games are extras.

I use a PC.

But seriously, I can do practically anything on it and a lot of the time more than two or three things can be going on at once and be accessible instantly with a quick Alt+Tab.

PC

Not because of all the cliché reasons thrown around whenever some idiot tries comparing a monster to a fluffy rabbit, but simply because I have a PC anyway (so I'll make sure it can play games, which is simple enough these days) and I have no money for a console.

I am trying to save up for the WiiU, but it and every other one would always be my secondary playthings. For games, or certain types of games, that I simply can't get for the PC (emulating sucks).

PC because:
I like Civilization
StarCraft and other RTS just don't translate
FPS must be played with mouse -- if thou Playest thy Shooter with a Stick thou art Unclean and shalt be cast out among the Swine
I'm going to own a PC regardless so I might as well buy a decent GPU and play games on it

PS3 because:
My brother, brother-in-law, and friends have it also
I like Blu-Rays
Games like inFamous / Arkham / Burnout work better with controllers, also ports to PC are generally bad
I prefer to own a powerful machine (Wii is definitely the "special" entry in this round of console Olympics)
I prefer my machine to run longer than a week (everyone I know with a 360 is on AT LEAST their third one)
