I had a friend come over to my place once, he only has an Xbox but we wanted to play Wipeout and he brought up an interesting point, despite being able to have local multiplayer, it cannot have more than on profile loaded. So only player one can earn trophies and save data etc, I never even thought about it.
The Xbox does this, but the PS3 doesn't, why is that? I can't think of any particular reason as to why Sony would exclude this.
It kind of annoys me now, because I'm always logged in when my friend and I play Dead Nation or LBP etc, I didn't notice it, but now I think it is something that it should have. After all, you can have more than on profile on the machine, my partner has one so she can be sure I wouldn't accidentally save over her Valkyria Chronicles data.
So what do you think, is it something that has ever annoyed you, or you felt was lacking?
