Alright, I'm sick and tired of people saying "the consoles are taking over :(", when they're not.

People are saying that computers are now redundant, which is complete bull. Think for a minute. What is the one thing that PC gaming has that consoles do not? What do they not have the tools to do? Make or install mods, that's what.

There is a difference between mods and DLC, because mods are almost always fan made. DLC is made by the developer to expand the gaming experience that THEY have made. This is the N1 reason why PC gaming is still there and it's a roaring success. And, I will admit, I play the console and love it, but I play PC to enhance the experience already given to me, not to get better graphics (while they are usually pretty smexy :D.)

Now I am a proud owner of Oblivion and have multiple mods installed and it makes the game look almost like a failure without some of these mods (but it's not.)

In the poll above post your opinion if you agree with me or not.

You know, I haven't actually seen anyone say 'consoles are taking over' in ages. Similarly why is it that half the stereotypical 'PC gaming is dying' topics tend to be by PC gamers trying to dispute a myth that it doesn't seem anyone other than themselves really believe any more? At least in general.

Anyway seems a bit silly to me. Don't worry about it I say, the PC isn't going anywhere. If anything PC gaming is doing better than ever lately! Was going through a bit of a slump not too long ago but not only has the platform rebounded, but it's growing like never before. The modding communities are more active than ever, plenty of fresh new games are being released, digital distribution has not only become the norm but is a massive thriving industry now, and my personal favourite bit; indie studios are absolutely thriving on the PC like never before.

This last year has seen so many excellent PC release both indie and big-budget alike on the PC I'm at a loss, it's just fantastic to see the platform doing so well.

I never had any doubts that it would stay. I'm just stating one reason why it is staying.

It's more than relevant, it's superior based on facts. Otherwise, you're just missing out.
I myself wouldn't say "superior", it's just another form of gaming. Though I will admit I much prefer PC gaming.

"Sigh" I knew that there would be at least one person acting like a PC elitist.
