I'm a Star Wars fan but I have never really given Star Trek a shot. I have seen only 3 or 4 episodes in all the Trek series' combined plus only one movie (the new one). I will watch the other movies in time though because I will not die without having seen Wrath of Khan.
You should have just titled this thread "Star Wars vs Star Trek". A geek classic.
I voted Star Wars. It was in my bloodstream since birth. I had my first addiction since before I could remember, and would routinely watch the series three times a week when I was three.
I still enjoy it and continue on with the E.U. stuff, but it has since cooled from being so ferverent. My growing dislike for the exploitation and "watered-down" feel of much of it has distanced me*. I still enjoy various pieces though.

I'm a huge Star Wars fanboy, so this is a no-brainer for me, lol. Plus the Star Wars extended unverse holds so much more appeal to me then Star Trek.

Star Wars. Only because I've never watched anything Star Trek at all. (Except the "KHANNNN!" meme.)
... both have their merits. Startrek manages to be awesome in episodes which star wars fails at(the animated clones debacle) but i find star wars films to be more enjoyable(the first three, not the prequals)
