Poll: Wierd Pokemon Stories

So I've recently been on a nostalgia trip, and have busted out some of the old Pokemon games. In the process, I came across some interesting myths/legends/stories surrounding the games. From the Lavender Town Theory to several creepypasts rumors, I found the stories interesting, if for nothing else but laughs. So does anyone have a story of their own? Wierd playing moments, interesting glitch, whatever. Just curious for some stories.

My Silver version was once notoriously known for deliberately attempting to give me heart attacks when I was a child. From time to time, when I would start up the game, my saved game would be missing and I would promptly turn it off and freak out a little. But when I started it up again, my saved file was present and there didn't seem to be any problems with the game.

Mind you, this was way before I discovered the cloning cheat, so it had nothing to do with me being punished for being a greedy little Pokemon Master.
