Poll: WII fairness?

Now i was talking with my sister who happens to be a big fan of the Wii (please dont hate her ) but yeah and i was putting the usual THE Wii SUCKS WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU argument/flame when i sort of realised that it wasnt really the Wii i was hating on specifically, it was more what it represented all the casual gamers and the hipsters etc. at which point i started to think, am i alone in this? do all those who flame the Wii really hate IT that much or is it the swing it represents? i mean the Wii isnt a great console its probably the least inovative mediocre console ever. meh well neway thats my thought what do all of you think? there is a poll but also post your opinions behind your votes .

Anyway, to give my opinion on the Wii, it is a solid console, I like the whole two games I play on it.

It's nice to play Brawl and Mario Kart on it.

Plus, I can still play all of my Gamecube games on it.

The problem is that there are too few actual nintendo games on them. I have a nintendo 64 and there are so many great games on that I can't even hope to mention them all. Now though nintendo is just aiming at different audiences because they are more likely to have money. There are still great games on the wii, just nowhere near enough to justify the existance of several thousand casual gaming nightmares. So it's not so much the wii, it's just how nintendo use it, which is poorly.

motion control is OK if used in the right way and not as a gimmick althoug I own a 360 and think this way about motion control I still think that M$ shouldnt release Natal
