Poll: Wii games on the PS3

They're saying some Wii games are going to be ported over to the PS3 now that it's getting a motion controller similar to the wiimote.

Is it worth it.

The few "hardcore" wii games would be laughed off of a ps3. A game like No More Heroes may be vulgar and bloody on the wii but on the ps3 it'll be considered crappy shovelware.
Or will it work, further solidifying No More Heroes as the Most overrated game of all time.

i might get mario, zelda and metriod but thats bout it, i think i would like those games, but i dont like the motion controll aspect soo its halfway between yes and no lol.

wait i realised illd have to buy a new controller and these games wont have online and probly be crappy visuals as wii ports so i think noooo

The Wii games people would WANT to play on their PS3 - Metroid, Zelda, Mario - would never come to PS3, so in my mind, the point's moot. I wouldn't be opposed to an HD version of Boom Blox, though.

Depends on how good a port it is... I'm a bit of a graphics whore, so I wouldn't really want Wii-grade graphics on my PS3, really... the only time I accept lower-grade graphics is when either when its a previous-gen game, or some other aspect of the game is exceptionally good, like story or gameplay.

Motion sensitivity is dumb. I never liked the idea, and I won't like it now.

The games for the Wii (with Twilight Princess as my ONLY exception) are shit.

I wouldn't want 'em even on the PS3.

This would expose how low expectations are for a game to be considered good on the Wii.

Maybe No More Heroes, but most titles just wouldn't compare if on Xbox/PS3.

I know Wii have sold millions but how many gather dust unused or brushed off when a 'new' friend comes round and plays Wii Sports for an evening. I know some people rare devoted to the Wii but i'm not one of those.

I really hated that game, it bored me to death.

Boom Blocks on the other hand is awesome and should be ported to the ps3 and the 360 when they get their motion controls.

Other than that, yea, you're right, the games worth playing are strictly nintendo; including punch out, which is something I can see working on natal.

You realise that Mario, Zelda, and Metroid are NOT going to be ported to anything other than a Ninendo console while they still exist as a gaming company, right?
I'm going to hold my tongue about the rest.
