Now let's put some products behind those costs.

500! = Something that is awesome and amazing and could have been more expensive (PS3! ) but it's only $500 and affordable for that type of product!

500? = Something that isn't supposed to be worth $500 like (PS3? ) a regular MP3 player that does nothing new (WMP just a cool addon that does what it's supposed to do)

Or we could put Money as in the $

(You could get a $300 PC and the $200 blu-ray drive in it there you go a PS3 (PS3 wins in gaming playing PC wins everything else, same could be said of 360 )

Why is the $500! for something good and the $500? for something bad? (How about "$500! For that piece of junk coughheadphonescough" or "500? Isn't that suppose to be $2000"

To everyone else... I don't see the big deal. It's one game that uses an extra attachment, not unlike buying a guitar or a steering wheel or a gun for your current system. I haven't used the "Motion Plus", but frankly I'm pretty impressed with the motion sensitivity of my Wii currently, and until a game I really want comes out that requires that thing... so what?

So there is only a few million then. Lack of third party games and third party gamers.

I don't know where everyone is getting this $30-40 pricepoint. It's just another accelerometer...the nunchuck has 3 of those, 2 buttons, and an analog stick, and they only charge $20. Nintendo themselves have said the WMP will be sold a cheaply as possible, so I expect something around $15.

That being said, fuck this...I've already paid $280 in controllers alone for the system, don't tell me I need more now.
