Simple enough. Do you think double standards will always exist in society? Whether it be the guy who sleeps with many girls is a player where as girl who sleeps with many guys is a slut example or whatever you prefer to use double standards still exist. Do you think this will ever change?

Women dating younger men is ok but men dating younger women is sick
Treat others as you want to be treated as God said but not if they believe in a different god.
If a girl is a homosexual most consider it ok or fun thing but if a man is gay alot of people would consider it disgusting
If a girl cries its a sign of humanity but if a man cries its a sign of weakness

Yes I think there will always be double standards, it's just how things go I guess.

Double standard are like stereotypes..always have been around and they always will be.

Though the examples you listed will probably phase out at some point I don't see it happening in our lifetime (at least not here in the US). But even if those disappear other ones will take it's place.

Our society is extremely judgmental. If double standards are ever to be a thing of the past, I'm sure it won't be in our lifetimes. Sad, I know, but that's how I see it. It's a shame, really.

The expectations of different genders are blurring slightly (like men aren't expected to be all masculine and stuff) so the examples you gave might die down, but i'm sure they'll always exist in someones mind.

Probably. No one is exactly equal in this world, slight prejudices (however innocent or not) will always effect the way people think.

For example, I find clowns scary, therefore, I am instantly more suspicious of people dressed as clowns.

It is certainly shameful but there will always be double standards. I wish it wasn't so and that a woman could have sex with a lot of male partners without it being 'shameful' or at least no more shameful than a man doing it with women, or that I as a Halo Fan would be allowed to spout my love for the franchise just as greatly as Half Life fans do and not get flamed.... but unfortunatley that's just not how this world works.

People like making fun of or putting in their place, other people, even if that means hypocricy. It's human nature.

So yes, as much as I can loathe the notion of double standards I have to accept them as something that will always be there.

Different variables = different outcomes, its as simple as that, so yeah... double standards will always exist, not that I agree with most of the ones you mentioned.
