Unless it is during the occurrence of a plague or zombie apocalypse that utterly devastates the entire North American continent, I don't see a full-scale rebellion happening any time soon.

I don't think there will be a revolution in the next 50 years. American patriotism is a powerful thing. No, there won't be a revolution in America but I do foresee the possibility of a civil war. American politics have always been incredibly, er, bombastic and all it might take is a series of assassinations on both sides of the polarized political scene.

Sure just stay the hell out of Canada.
Also this. If you guys are going to be killing each other, please don't bring that here.
If we do have a revolution do you mind if I come up there?

Leave your guns behind and learn to be polite and I think we'll be alright ;)

I say no for one simple reason. Nobody cares anymore.

As much as the country may be polarized, as much as we might be in turmoil I just don't see Americans going up in arms against anyone.

Sadly, on the off chance there IS a revolution I don't see it being a real one, but a coup d'état by the larger corporations and super rich and their Washington puppets cleverly disguised and crafted to appear t be a revolution or civil war where we're tricked into fighting people with completely harmless ideas or opinions and then have the government reformed in such a way that makes the government from V for Vendetta look like benevolent civil servants.

Even sadder is that before EITHER of those I'd sooner expect we come up with some scapegoat or another for all of our woes and "round them up". I can see it staring with either Hispanics or Muslims, depending on how the next few years play out. After that we'd move to either of the 2 remaining. There'd be talk of defense and sacrifice and all that jive and I'd suspect most people would eat it up. After the Muslims and Hispanics are rounded up I'd predict next up would be Atheists or anyone that ever supported abortions. Gays might also follow suit as being another victim. All this would be in the name of "solidarity and taking America back".

And EVEN STILL! I just don't think any off that will happen for one simple reason: WE JUST DON'T CARE! We let politicians play games and lie to us with no ramifications to them at the polls, we don't take personal responsibility for our own governance or even our own actions, we don't inform ourselves about up coming legislation and react to outrageous lies and crazy talk more than reason and truth and we let politicians take all sorts of donations from sketchy people who then get the favor returned in the form of tax breaks, less regulations and all that jive.

Basically, there's no reason for anyone who wants to take over out country and install their own government or puppet government to bother because the system is already easily manipulated and most people just don't care enough or aren't educated enough to know better if such an event happens that warrants a revolution (be it bloody or civilized and peaceful).

So, no. There will probably not be any revolution. Which is a shame because, you know.... We all want to change the world.

Doubt it. The American people seem to have cumulatively adopted an apathetic attitude towards matters of state. Even things that would have prompted revolutions in ages past seem to pass by without incident. Granted, somethings gotta give eventually, but I doubt it'll come in the form of a civil war, or anything of that nature. Of course, I could be talking outta my ass here, so take that with a grain of salt.

Government isn't so much the problem. To lessen the constantly growing gap, bribing of government officials to favor the well-off over the barely-able-to-scape-by needs to stop. Don't revolt against the government, don't even revolt against the rich and corporations, revolt against the corrupt.

There's a problem with your logic in that you're using logic. People don't respond to that. At least that's not what get's the most attention. No, if you go on and on about long winded and complex ideas like that people won't listen. Especially not if they're level headed and rooted in sanity.

I do not believe what the Army tells me blindly, they have videos of this happening. Sadly, I can not post any of them because the Army has told me not to, mainly because the videos are very graphic. When I say enemy today, I mean terrorist, usually Bin Ladins group (I cannot remember how to spell their name). That TSA pic, I do not know the details but odds are good they were justified. The terrorist we are currently fighting have done this S*** "Son, go up to the man and hug him. BOOOM. It is OK, the boy is a Marty for the cause." I have seen videos of children being used as bombs.

There will always be bad police, who are too trigger-happy. We do need to work on our laws to fix that. I do not know how yet but I need to demand action from my legislature.
Question; how many child bombers has been doing terrorist acts in the US?
And even more important, how many children has been caught in the US with bombs strapped to their bodies?

Again, can you ever justify going through babies daipers and groping peoples genitals in the name of security and freedom?
