ok so about a year or two ago Nintendo remade some old GC games like picmin and Mario golf for the wii.

however I think they would find much more money if they did Wind Waker
(or other titles)
so what do you think?

But I can already play it on my wii, with a GC controller no less, so why would I want rushed motion controls?

16:9 would be nice, but that's about it.

They're not really 'remakes', they're 'Wii-makes' - or gloried GameCube to Wii ports.

Klonoa was a REAL remake, and it was a damn fine one.

However I'd enjoy a Fatal Frame 2 on the Wii or just getting the new one released in English.

Wind Waker is just fine as it is really. I finished playing it again a couple of weeks ago on my Wii. The cell shaded graphics held up extremely well, it didn't feel outdated at all, just stylized.

Yeah, the style of Wind Waker is awesome, I don't really like Nintendo anymore but I still love OoT and Wind Waker.

I remember those little furry things that attached to you in the forest temple, I always tried to keep one or two alive. XD

Considering that Wii-making it wouldn't really add anything to the game I don't really see the point.

It's not like RE4 where the motion controls enhanced the game.

Stylised games just hold up better in general.

Twilight princess already looks dated, stuff like Wind waker, Killer 7 and even Jet set radio still look great.

No. I personally got the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess, later when I did play the Wii version with motion controls, I was all the more happy that there still was a GC version. Not that it was bad, per se, on the Wii- it's just that I will always prefer a real controller and any remake of Wind Waker would most likely be an "update for motion controls" edition sort of thing.

Meh. It was fine when they did it with Twilight Princess (and I love the Wii version of that game), but I don't see how it could add much to Wind Waker.

Maybe when Nintendo create a console that renders their games in HD. Sad truth of the matter is the emulators make Wii games look better than the Wii itself does.

Why nothing new will be added It's just a port to the Wii with nothing new added.

Sure my favorite 3D Zelda is The Wind Waker but it's just a waste of money when I can just borrow it from my friend for free

Hmmm... I recall somewhat reacently... Hearing pikmin 3 was gonig to realese on the wii... After palying Pikmin one a lnog tiem ago then pikmin 2 shortly after I decided I would purchase the game for old times... Then once it realses I go to pick it up... I find pikmin 1... Reformatted for the wii... What the fuck... How could so one misinterpit a reserve for pikmin 3 for a reserve for a reformat of pikmin 1... Anywase, Besides the point wii-makes are annoying, And missleading (I didn't even take that game from the store... Got a refund the moment I saw it :p)

Wind Waker is an awesome game, but it doesn't really need a remake. It's completely fine the way it is. I can't see how they could make any improvements for a Wii version

Are you kidding?
This is a joke thread, right?
This is a case of sarcasm not coming through properly on the internet, right?

The game's like a week old.

No more goddamn remakes, unless the games are impossibly old and worth remaking. You know, those games for which you'd have to steal an old computer from a museum to get them to work again.

Wind Waker is not one of those games.
